Notice on the Scopus Re-evaluation Process
Mathematical Modelling of Engineering Problems (MMEP) would like to inform authors and readers that the journal has received official notification from Scopus that it has been selected for a regular re-evaluation process conducted by the Scopus Content Selection and Advisory Board (CSAB).
The re-evaluation is part of Scopus’s standard content quality assurance mechanism and applies the same criteria used during the journal’s initial inclusion, including journal policy, quality of content, academic standing, publishing regularity, and online availability. This process does not represent a decision to discontinue indexing.
The Editorial Office and Publisher have completed the required publisher enrichment procedures within the specified timeframe and are fully cooperating with the Scopus Title Re-evaluation Team. During this period, the journal’s submission, peer-review, and editorial processes continue to operate normally and in accordance with established academic standards and publishing ethics.
As communicated by Scopus, indexing of newly published content is temporarily placed on hold while the re-evaluation is ongoing. If the decision is made to continue indexing, all eligible articles published from the date the re-evaluation was initiated will be indexed in Scopus in accordance with Scopus procedures. In the event of a change in indexing status, previously indexed content generally remains available in the database.
The Editorial Office recognizes the importance of indexing transparency for authors and remains committed to maintaining high academic quality, editorial integrity, and open communication with the research community. Any relevant updates will be announced on this page in due course.
