Abstract: 

This paper deals with a theoretical mathematical analysis of drying a porous wall with a space time variability of heat and mass transfer coefficients. The vertical porous wall is submitted to an external downward forced or mixed convection laminar flow of water vapour mixture with controlled inlet variables. The effect of the mixed convection on heat and mass transfer in a vertical channel during a porous wall drying is examined. We also show the effect of the variability of the fluid drier temperature on heat and mass transfer during the drying process.
